Global Ayyappa Conclave at Pamba Earns Praise from Andhra-
Telangana Delegate
Pamba, Kerala | 20 September 2025:
The sacred banks of the Pamba River witnessed a historic spiritual gathering as the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) successfully hosted the Global Ayyappa Conclave, drawing over 3000 international delegates to the divine foothills of Lord Manikantha.
Among the attendees was a distinguished delegate from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, who expressed heartfelt appreciation for the event’s scale, sanctity, and seamless execution. In a formal commendation addressed to TDB, the delegate lauded the online registration system, which ensured secure and efficient access to delegate passes—remarkably offered free of charge, reflecting the Board’s commitment to Dharma and inclusivity.
The delegate highlighted the exemplary arrangements, including soulful Bhajana Kirtans, robust safety measures, and world-class infrastructure on Sabarimala Hill. “Such devotion and dedication from the Government of Kerala and TDB deserve the highest praise,” the letter stated.
Despite legal challenges from certain groups, the conclave proceeded with dignity and resolve, thanks to the unwavering leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan and Devaswom Minister Shri V. N. Vasavan. Their bold decisions were credited with upholding the sanctity of the event and reinforcing religious harmony.
The delegate also expressed regret over the absence of official representation from the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, noting that thousands of devotees from these states undertake 41-day Diksha and visit Sabarimala annually. The letter urged future collaboration to improve inter-state connectivity and support TDB’s master plan.
A special mention was made of the Delegate Kit, which included sacred prasadam and memorable gifts, described as “deeply touching and spiritually uplifting.”
Addressing the Pandalam Palace and women’s entry issue, the delegate clarified that many devotees believe the controversy was externally instigated and does not reflect the sentiments of true Ayyappa followers. The absence of Pandalam Palace representatives was noted with understanding, and a request was made for guidance to visit the palace respectfully.
The letter concluded with a reaffirmation of devotion to Lord Dharmashasta, and a call to uphold the values of truth, discipline, and unity.
Swamy Saranam.
